Course Description – Student Information
The Patrol Rifle Operator Course by Always Forward Training LLC is an 8-hour, performance-focused rifle training program for law enforcement officers authorized to deploy a patrol rifle.
This course can be taken with any serviceable rifle with an optic, lpvo, or iron sights.
This course is built around measurable performance and shot accountability. Students will confirm rifle zero, reinforce core marksmanship fundamentals, and engage targets at duty-relevant distances with a clear expectation: every round fired must be accurate and intentional. Training emphasizes precision, consistency, and professional standards rather than volume of fire.
Officers will be evaluated on accuracy, weapon handling, and execution while shooting from multiple positions, using cover, and performing rifle manipulations. Standards are enforced throughout the day, culminating in a course of fire that objectively measures performance.
This course is designed to improve the students performance with a patrol rifle in a variety of situations.
