Awards
The ISOA wants to acknowledge tactically minded first responders and individuals who exhibit commitment, expertise, enthusiasm, support, and/or valorous actions.
Any person can nominate an individual or group who qualifies for recognition.
An awards committee selected by the ISOA board of directors will make the final decision regarding the recipient(s) of the awards.
Officer of the Year
This award is to recognize and officer who went above and beyond the call of duty. The nominee is not required to be a member of a tactical team.
Lifetime Achievement
This award recognizes an individual that has a profound impact on the tactical community and has demonstrated an unwavering spirit and selfless contributions of time and support for those that go in harm’s way.
