Course Description

Course Description – Student Overview

Precision Pistol – Law Enforcement Marksmanship is an intensive one-day, 8-hour in-service firearms course focused on developing disciplined, accountable pistol marksmanship for sworn law enforcement officers. This course emphasizes precision over volume, reinforcing the responsibility for every round fired while operating under duty-relevant conditions.

This course can be taken with a duty rig or fully concealed.

Students will refine core pistol fundamentals—grip, stance, sight management, and trigger control—while applying them to realistic law-enforcement scenarios. Training progresses from baseline accuracy and zero confirmation to draw-to-first-shot precision, extended-distance shooting, reduced target zones, movement, positional shooting, and decision-making under stress. Officers will be challenged to maintain accuracy while managing time pressure, cognitive load, and use-of-force considerations.

This course will better prepare students for real world situations that require high with no margin for error.
