Course Format
Length: One day, 8 hours per course
Class Size: Up to 10 officers/deputies/agents per class (consistent with Archway Defense's rifle course capacity)
Instruction Style: Hands-on, high-repetition, performance-driven — minimal classroom time, maximum range
time
Focus Areas: Draw stroke and presentation, grip and stance mechanics, trigger control, speed and accuracy under
time pressure, malfunction clearance, and decision-making drills
The course pushes shooters to identify and eliminate bad habits, adopt more efficient mechanics, and build the
kind of split-second precision that modern policing demands. Every drill is run with immediate feedback and
measurable repetitions so officers can see tangible improvement over the course of the day.

Officers are responsible for bringing their duty or issued pistol, a minimum of three magazines, holster, magazine
pouches, eye and ear protection, and sufficient duty-caliber ammunition (recommended minimum 300 rounds per
officer; exact round count to be confirmed by lead instructor).
